Hi, I’m Courtenay, an amateur eventer from Brisbane, Australia. I love spending time with my little Hafflinger horse, Archie. Whether it’s training, competition, or just hanging out, he’s a pretty cool little guy to be around, which is why I’ve named my business after him.

I’ve always had trouble finding breeches that tick all my boxes - comfortable with good stretch, but not thin and flimsy. Supportive and sculpting but not stiff. Sticky but won’t imprint on my saddle. A decent pocket. But most importantly, a thick, smooth waistband with belt loops, zipper, and buttons. Even on me, those skinny little elastic waists were giving faux muffin top and skin folds galore when I sat down. After quite a bit of market and supplier research, as well as product testing, I’m excited to bring you my ultimate hybrid breech! I put my sample grey pair through vigorous tasks over six months - XC in 30 degree heat, machine washing a LOT, falling off, horse goober, dog slobber, red wine, white wine… you name it. We even poured a glass of Pinot Noir on my white sample to see if it would wash out - and it did! I’m confident to bring these trusty trousers to my friends and fellow local Aussie Equestrians in the hope you’ll enjoy them just as much as I do!
